Why it's so important to ping your site(s)?
The answer is for one great reason to ping your site(s) which is to make your blog picked up by search engines.

THE STEPS FOR HOW?
1. Open site http://pingomatic.com in your Internet browser.
2. In the "Blog Name" box enter "Your Blog Name"
3. In the "Blog Home Page" box enter "Your Blog URL"
4. Then in "Common Services" click "Check All" to have all services be selected.
5. Then click the "Send Pings" button.
1. Open site http://autopinger.com in your Internet browser.
2. In the "Url" box enter "Your Blog URL"
3. Then click the "Start Ping" button..
1. Open site http://www.pingmyblog.com in your Internet browser.
2. In the "Blog Name" box enter "Your Blog Name"
3. In the "Blog URL" box enter "Your Blog URL"
4. Then click "Check All" to have all services be selected.
5. Then click "I agree with Terms Of Service".
6. Then click the "Ping MY Blog" button.
1. Open site http://www.feedping.com in your Internet browser.
2. In the "Blog / Site Name:" box enter "Your Blog Name"
3. In the "Blog / Site URL " box enter "Your Blog URL"
4. Then click "Check All" to have all services be selected.
5. Then click "I agree to Terms of Service".
6. Then click the "PING ONLY ONCE" button.
1. Open site http://pingler.com in your Internet browser.
2. In the "Website Name or Title:" box enter "Your Blog Name"
3. In the "Website Url:" box enter "Your Blog URL"
4. Then enter text in the captcha image in "Enter the Captcha Text" box.
5. Then click the "Ping My Site" button.
1. Open site http://blogsearch.google.com/ping in your Internet browser.
2. In the "Your blog's address:" box enter "Your Blog URL"
3. Then click the "Submit Blog" button.
Stay up to date on the results: (below is examples of mine)
- Create an email alert for "Your Blog"
- Search Google News for "Your Blog"
- Add a blog search gadget for "Your Blog" to your Google homepage
- Subscribe to a blog search feed for "Your Blog"in Google Reader
Ping FeedBurner using this form and we'll update your feed immediately, instead of on our automatic 30 minute interval.
Provide the address of the Web site hosting the source feed;
(example: http://www.myblogsite.com)
To submit site to search engines enter your site's URL, Name and valid e-mail (to confirm submissions) - then press "Submit URL" button.
For better results repeat submission every 4 weeks (BUT NOT SOONER, YOUR LINK MAY BE BANNED). Make sure that your site is online.
Some search engines require your e-mail confirmation - check your inbox after submission. Submission may take 5-6 minutes - please, be patient.
